Just Thinkin'...

Do you ever read a scripture or quote and it just strikes you? Like the kind of strike that you can't get it out of your head? I do...a lot. Here are some of my favorites:

~Anyway - The Paradoxical Commandments

*People are unreasonable, illogical and self-centered. Love them anyway.
*If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Do good anyway.
*If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies. Succeed anyway.
*The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
*Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable. Be honest and frank anyway.
*The biggest person with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest person with the smallest mind. Think big anyway.
*People favor underdogs, but follow only top dogs. Fight for a few underdogs anyway.
*What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. Build anyway.
*People really need help but may attack if you help them. Help people anyway.
*Give the world the best you have and you might get kicked in the teeth. Give the world the best you have anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; It was never between you and them anyway.

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.~1John3:1
